Student Employment

The SCC North Mankato Textbook Center/Campus Store and the Faribault Campus Store are looking for members to add to our team! Students currently enrolled at South Central College may be eligible for on and off campus student employment through the federal work study program if they meet the following criteria:

-Enrollment of at least six credits
-Completion of the Work Study Application
-Completion of the FAFSA and eligible for work study funds
-No academic or financial aid holds

Campus Store (Faribault & North Mankato campuses) & North Mankato Textbook Center Student Worker Job Description:
Responsible for quick and accurate cash register transactions. Previous cash register and customer service experience preferred. Other responsibilities of this position include accurate running of tuition payments, college invoices, and other transactions as necessary, picking, processing and shipping web orders, (web order processing on the North Mankato campus only), assisting customers on the sales floor, scanning AP invoices into the Minnesota State Purchasing System, along with answering phones and customer emails. Student is required to be prompt and on time for all scheduled shifts. 

The starting pay is $12.00/hr. for both positions and students may work up to 20 hours per week during non-class times.  If interested, please fill out the Application for Student Employment and enter either the Faribault or North Mankato Campus Store as your preferred work area.
