Student Account Charging

South Central College wants you to be successful. As part of that mission, we allow every student with a current FAFSA on file with SCC the ability to charge all necessary textbooks and supplies to their student accounts. This means you can have your books for the first day of class without having to worry.

Requirements

  • Students must be currently enrolled in South Central College courses.
  • Students must have a current FAFSA on file with SCC to be eligible to charge to their student account.
  • A SCC student ID# is required for all charges. (Your student ID# can be found in eServices or on your SCC student ID card.)
  • Students must not have any holds on their account.

Student Account Charging Dates

You can charge purchases to your student bill on specific dates each semester. For this semester's charging dates, please see the Campus Store's important dates.

How to Charge Your Online Order to Your Student Account

To use your financial aid funds for purchases on the Campus Store's website, select Student Account/PSEO/Other as your payment type and enter your 8-digit SCC student ID# (Tech ID) in the account number field at checkout.

Is Someone Else Paying for Your Textbooks?

Third Party: If you have a company, agency or organization purchasing your textbooks for you, we must have documentation from them on file in our Business Office before you can charge. Examples of these organizations include: Rehabilitation Services (RS), Minnesota Valley Action Council (MVAC), Pipeline Grant, Minnesota Department of Economic Trade Act Training (TAA), South Central College Presidential Scholarship Recipients, Workforce Development, and Veterans Benefits (VETS). This information can be emailed to [email protected]. Any documents should include your full name and SCC student ID/StarID. Please allow up to 48 hours for processing. Some restrictions apply as to what items can be charged.

 

PSEO students are eligible to charge their required textbooks and supplies after completing the steps for admission with their advisor and have registered for courses at South Central College. Please see the PSEO instructions for more information.
